Manic Monday ‘Blow"

Mo from It’s a Blog Eat Blog World puts out a new word each week for his Minions to use to write a post. The word this week is ‘Blow‘.

I could have written a long, blown out story about how the wind was blowing this winter or how I blew wind at the wrong moment, but thought I’d keep it simple because I know y’all will blow a lot of hot air around this particular topic and I KNEW I couldn’t write the first thing that came to mind!

So, the second thing to come to mind when I read the word ‘blow’ was this song by Neil Young!

I downloaded “Four Strong Winds” from Imeem. It’s a very easy site from which to download music to your blog. So far, it’s come through with every song I wanted!

Do tell - when is the ‘right’ moment? (hehe)

I thought about “yo ho, blow the man down”, and a few other old songs. Also about “the wind blew the blue umbrella down the beach” or “the young boy’s JOB was to BLOW out all the candles” but would have had to build a whole story around these, so…. Well, you’ll see what I did when you come visit, haha.

Hey Heather…

Just wanted to thank you for you comments on my blog yesterday. IT was a tough one for me. I think my feelings of being blue were compounded by the fact that I was post night shift. I got some great news from one of my sisters yesterday which is upbeat and I am going to post about later today.

I thought of “BLOWING my top” as my 1st choice (well, okay…maybe second). But, I didn’t want someone to turn me in to the authoritites. heh heh

Great song. I’ll have to check out that sight. Sometimes audio codes doesn’t have the songs or they don’t play right.
