Help - anyone out there know how to edit video in order to upload to You Tube?
My video is 285 MB and You Tube requires it to be 100 MB or smaller. I have the video saved in ‘My Documents’ and still on my Sony camera… I’d like to break it into 3 separate videos… any suggestions?

I use Adobe Premiere Elements to edit Video. But Windows has movie maker software. You should be able to chop the clips into three segments on any editing program. Wish I could be more helpful.
ReplyDid you get Sony-Picture Package when you bought your camera? It was part of the driver-CD on my camera… very helpful to seperate the movie into different parts. You can also use video-progz like ULEAD video studio to reduce the size.
Please don´t forget YouTube exepts only 10 minutes and 100 MB. The uploding process takes ages… and it´s very annoying to be told: Your video is not accepted because its 10 minutes and 5 seconds long… this is what happened to me a few weeks ago *sigh*
ReplyI’ve left another msg at the PPP forums for you, when you’re back on Sunday.
ReplyWindows movie maker does it for me.
ReplyI believe you can do it on Windows Movie Maker, which is quite simple to figure out after a quick play around with it. But, as someone said above, you can only upload videos to Youtube that are 100 MB and 10 minutes long.
ReplyShow us the video afterwards!
