2010 Olympic Mascots Revealed Today!

The Mascots for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games were officially unveiled today and TADA… here they are! You can read the CTV news report to learn more.

Miga is a snowboarding sea-bear inspired by the First Nations’ legends of the Pacific Northwest and is mischievous and outgoing.

Quatchi is a shy, gentle Sasquatch with a long brown beard and blue earmuffs and conjures the mystery and wonder associated with Canada’s wilderness.

Sumi is an animal guardian spirit, who flies with the wings of the thunderbird and is described as “a natural born leader with a passion for protecting the environment.” Sumi represents the Paralympic Games.

Mukmuk is a Vancouver Island marmot sidekick considered an honorary member of the mascot team.

  3. I agree that I’m not a fan of these mascots. Maybe I just thought they’d do better. Oh well, the olympics should be pretty great!
