IZEA needs 10 ‘Insiders’ to provide product input, spread the word about IZEA’s sites and products and attend blogging conventions and social media events, while expanding the blogger circle and creating a stronger bond amongst the IZEA community.
I feel as though I already am an ‘IZEA Insider’ – after undergoing a ‘virtual cake plow’!
The IZEA team taught me one of the most important lessons of my life. “What is that lesson?”, you ask. You did ask, right?
Ted Murphy and his Rock Star team show by example how to be uninhibited and at times, slightly zany. I’ve learned to be myself, to not worry if someone sees me with chocolate on my face

or wearing a crazy hat.

The IZEAn’s showed me how to have fun after the work is completed.
My life has changed since becoming a Postie for IZEA. I’ve become part of an online group of caring, sharing people with a common goal – to promote blogging about the things we love – and being paid to do it! And, I’ve been rewarded not only with friendship, but with an incredible, totally unexpected Postie of the Month award:

Attending PostieCon07 in Las Vegas was an amazing experience – not that I actually remember ALL of it, but I met some awesome people and learned a great deal. Since then I’ve kept in contact with many of the bloggers via the IZEA forum and by exchanging reciprocal comments on our blogs, and I formed many new friendships at this years IZEAFest in Orlando.

I love blogging, meeting people, social networking, attending events and talking about IZEA changing the business world and the lives of so many people.
As a matter of fact, I ran into my blogger friend whom I had never met KT Cat (via Twitter – I LOVE Twitter) at Blog World Expo 08 in Las Vegas and he thanked me for introducing him to IZEA and paid posting, as the extra money he earned made a huge difference in his life at a time when he really needed it. I introduced him to Ted so he could relate his story to the horse’s mouth – and it nearly brought me to tears to realize I was part of such an incredible life changing event.

When Ted posted, asking for applicants interested in becoming an IZEA Insider Team Leader, I immediately knew I wanted to take part in this innovative, ground breaking group.
I believe I would make an awesome team leader, as organizing is one of my strong skills – just ask my family – or David Brim of IZEA – I didn’t hesitate to suggest he take one more broad jump which won him the world title a WII game!
Time is not an issue for me as I don’t seem to really have an actual job, other than blogging – so I’m available to attend any and all the conventions. And… money is certainly not an issue since I grabbed BIG moolah in the Cashinator at BWE08!
As election time is near, I am asking for your vote (leave a comment, okay, the ballot box is full)… Will YOU join my Crew?
