Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament

Crystal and I went to the local pub tonight for dinner and to play in the Texas Hold ‘Em tournament. There were about 20 of us in the game to start and I stayed in with the Big Dawg’s all the way ’til second place. Woohooooooooooooo!

Usually, I’m 1st or 2nd out, but tonight I kept getting decent cards and played conservatively – which is unusual for me. Often I go all in too early and get the boot. This will certainly help me in the rankings – and I need all the help I can get as I have to miss the odd game, which lowers my score. Now, I’m excited for next week and will perhaps try harder to stay in longer and play a little more carefully… maybe!
