… Love my new Favicon?

What’s a Favicon you ask? Look at the address bar at the top of your screen where my URL is – see the Bald Eagle flying overhead? ‘Baldy’ is my ‘Favicon’ and was created for me by Nate of Unique Blog Designs!

My husband took this photo of ‘Baldy’ in 2002 at Egmont. ‘Baldy’ used to fly over from his/her nest on one of the Sutton Islands whenever we put a salmon or ling cod carcass out on the beach. Usually, he’d wait until we got tired of waiting for him and when we left he’d soar over to get the fish and take it right back to the nest for the young eaglets.

Kent soon figured out ‘Baldy’s’ strategy though and waited just out of sight, occasionally glancing around the corner to watch for him. Sure enough, once Baldy was assured no one was around, he flew over for dinner. Kent snapped the shot as he was about to land!

I really like favicons and yours is very nice. To have an actual photo, a real animal and the US’s national bird makes it wonderful. Your husband is talented.
