Which One? Poker or Football – No Brainer!

I love playing poker, not that I’m good at it – but I enjoy the game and the bluffing and trying to keep a ‘poker face’. So, it’s a no-brainer for me that when I attend Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas, a poker tournament would be right up my alley!
Football Fanatics who are one of the ASW09 vendors/affiliates are organizing a 50 person tournament with GREAT prizes. I know extremely little about football, so I’ll definitely be out of my league there and of course being a woman will put me on the underdog side as well. But, I plan to take part anyway!
I play Texas Hold ‘Em every Tuesday night with a group of 24 – 3 of whom are women, so at least I know what that feels like. The guys ‘know’ they can take me out early on – so they don’t always respect my abilities – which gives me a slight advantage – at times!
I was 9th going into the tournament and felt that was not a bad showing at all. As I said, I like playing and it’s a game to me, not life or death if I win.
