Bald Eagles in Homer, Alaska – NOT – Comox, British Columbia

This picture is so amazing, I had to share it. Once again, I don’t know where it came from other than in a forwarded email. Enjoy!

Here is a link to my Facebook album with a few more Bald Eagle photos from the same photographer.

Please note, in the comments, a very astute reader did some research as he did not believe these photos were taken in Comox, as I stated (as the email I received stated AND as Chek 6 news reported!) but in Homer Alaska.

The first clue – the sign in the foreground and the second clue – lack of BC mainland showing in background. Tony found proof on a website and in a YouTube video. See his comments for the links. Thanks Tony!

    @chris :
    Chris – I wish I could credit the photographer, but the email with the photos came to me without his/her name. That’s a good lesson for us all though – to always be sure to watermark our photos…

    Well, that was very nice of Google to send you to my site :)

    I’m guessing the pics are real as there are so many of them floating around the web and there are people in some of them. Let me know if you find out differently, okay?

    Have a great day!

    I don’t believe these photos were taken in Comox. If you are in Comox and look out across the ocean, you see the mainland all along the water, and not any open ocean as you can in these photos. Also, if this is Comox, please tell me where there is such a sign?
    These were probably taken in Homer, Alaska.

    Proof that these images were taken in Homer, Alaska, and not Comox, BC:
