I’m continually amazed by all the cool prizes being given away on blogs – daily I see people twittering and blogging about giveaways. Of course I enter them all but I haven’t been very lucky at winning online!

Well, that changed today! I know I’m winning because my friend Murray Newlands started a Green Affiliate marketing blog and to launch it, he is holding a Twitter Contest, and I’m part of it.

Murray is giving away a Casio EX-Z8O Camera (or cash – your choice) and an XShot Camera Extender from our good friends XShotpix.com.

This guy just became a member of Bloggeries forum! I’ve entered – good contest. I’ve been asking him over on Bloggeries, though, I’m really having a hard time grasping the concept of a carbon offset. It sounds like I’m paying money to have my sins forgiven, but what’s the money go to? How does it really offset what I do to the environment?
