I love adding new widgets to my sidebar - especially if they are GREAT additions which save me time, make life simpler and provide a needed service.

Owen, from Ask Owen gave simple, simple directions for adding an RSS feed widget which shows ‘recent Entrecard droppers’ to your wordpress sidebar. You may choose to display up to 10 links. I added the widget in under a minute! Then I opened the links using ‘linky’ and dropped my card on all ten in no time. I can do this throughout the day and visit everyone who drops on me! Awesome - Owen is very good at sharing his technical skills! Anytime you have a question, drop by his site, ask and he will answer your question and share it on his blog.

Now, what’s love Rube Goldberg got to do with it? The first entrecarder I dropped on had an interesting ‘How Commerce Works diagram on her site which MADE me google Rube Goldberg. I ended up watching so many crazy contraptions and wasted my morning away, now I’m going to be late for an appointment! That’s what Rube Goldberg’s got to do with it! I can blame him for his intricate, intruguing, amazing time-wasting designs.

Take a look at this home-made contraption - what creativity and fun. Wouldn’t you hate trying to live in this home with this geeky guy? The mess would drive me nuts!

Help - anyone out there know how to edit video in order to upload to You Tube?

My video is 285 MB and You Tube requires it to be 100 MB or smaller. I have the video saved in ‘My Documents’ and still on my Sony camera… I’d like to break it into 3 separate videos… any suggestions?

This is fun! My husband says, “SELL”! Anyone want to buy it?

I had to ask (beg) yesterday, for a screenshot of my ‘Blog of the Day’ on Payperpost’s Dashboard as I just couldn’t figure out how to do it myself.

Luckily for me, Dana from AZ Dana’s Wonderful & Wacky Weblog came to my rescue and emailed a copy to me.

Kai from The Buzz Queen asked me how to do it… well, um duh, I still didn’t know… so she was on a mission to find out - and posted it this morning for all us technically challenged people to learn.

I realized I just couldn’t go through the rest of my life day feeling like a dumb blonde so I followed her directions, et voila - it WAS easy!

Okay, I see I didn’t crop it properly - but I don’t have a simple program like ‘Paint’ and haven’t figured out how to crop in ‘Imaging’. Perhaps that’ll be my next big learning curve…. hahaha…. but in the meantime, DARN I’m feeling smart!
